Sid & Molly website community launched

Welcome to the all new Sid & Molly Community. We have decided to set up this forum to encourage communication and give our visitors the opportunity to discuss, compare, consult and share ideas.

Sid & Molly invite you to express your views, opinions, tips, issues and concerns on topic concerning parenthood and children's fashions to behaviour. We would like to provide a safe and informative environment.

If you have something to say, then we would like to hear it.

To assist our research we sought advice from a local, independent organisation, The Baby Cafe, Kendal, Cumbria. The organisation is non profit making, run by volunteers. The Baby Cafe is a drop in centre which provides a safe environment where mums can breastfeed comfortably, in the company of other new parents offering pregnancy and breast feeding support. Here advice and experience can be offered and shared and professional support is offered through health visitors.

SID & MOLLY PORTRAIT COMPETITION

Draw a Sid & Molly portrait any way you like onto an A4 page, post the finished drawing with all the artist's personal details on the reverse (name, age, county and contact details) to Sid & Molly, The Archway Shop, Ambleside, Cumbria, LA22 9BU, and your drawing will be entered into our portrait competition. The winning portrait will be displayed on our website together with the artist's (picture) personal profile. Our design team will also use the winning drawing within their next project!

Designs will be judged on creativity so let your child's imagination run wild!

Entrants and (all artwork produced) must be aged 8yrs or under and the portrait must be entirely the entrant's own work. Applications must be posted and authorized by an adult aged 18yrs and over. The winning design will receive a £20.00 Ottakars/Waterstones gift voucher. Drawings will be judged by an independent body whose decision will be final. Any entries not complying with the competition requirements may be rejected at Sid & Molly's discretion. Sid & Molly retain the right to use winning designs within their own design briefs without breaching Copyright laws. Unfortunately drawings cannot be returned. Name, age, county and contact details must be included on the reverse of the form or entries may be rejected. All entries must be received by 31st March 2007 Winners will be notified within two weeks of the closing date.

Sid & Molly have started these fun fantasy outlines but they need your help to finish them! Encourage children's creativity by helping them to add their own characters, colours and scribbles! Send in your finished entries and Sid & Molly will choose a selection to be displayed on our website gallery.
